The subtle Kadjar redesign is most noticeable on the front – the vehicle has new LED headlights, while the fog lamps are rectangular and placed in the revised front bumper. The front area, which now has chrome-plated elements, has changed, and there are new LED indicators, headlights and fog lamps on the rear. A new choice of aluminum wheels with sizes from 17 to 19 inches will be offered.

The interior has a new 7-inch infotainment system, which Renault is said to be brighter and more resilient than the current one.

Climate control, air vents, and controls for electric windows and mirrors are redesigned so that they are more pleasant to touch and easier to use.

The German brand is likely to use the next version of their popular supermini model A1 (spotted during winter testing) as the basis for the future “baby” SUV, which will share much of its DNA as well as stylistic elements.

Both models will be based on the smallest version of the VW Group’s MQB platform under the latest SEAT Ibiza and VW Polo, which means that Audi Q1 will use the latest generation of VW Grop’s petrol and diesel engines, which include a 3-cylinder 1.0 liter and more powerful 1.5 liter turbo petrol engines, as well as 1.6 liter diesel.

As soon as it arrives on the market, it is likely to be possible to incorporate hybrid technology into it.

Q1 will not be the only new SUV to follow from Audi – a brand new Q4 is announced, as well as the Q8 that will rival the Range Rover models. High-performance versions of Q3, Q5 and Q8 are also planned.
